Stomach, Hips, Arms & Thighs

Monday, April 16th, 2007

A never ending struggle to keep it looking the same as when you were 21!

Over the last week, I’ve a girl mid 20s, a career lady early 40s and my aunt a grandmother at 60s looking for advice. I guess I must still be in good shape at 48!. Hehehehe.

Forget about starvation, walking, exercise, and dieting – they all don’t work.

The basic principle is, if input is more than output, then the excess calories, are stored around your stomach, hips, arms and thighs. Over the last 8 years, I’ve helped so many people stay trim.

Today, with just Nature’s Tea and Bioslife, within days, you enjoy more energy, slim down, sleep better and have more confidence looking good. More importantly, naturally and safely manage your cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar and prevent colon cancer too.

Oh yeah, it’s hard work to drink your Bioslife before lunch and dinner and your Nature’s Tea before sleeping. So are you disciplined enough to give a final shot to solve your lifelong struggle?.

Email Rules - Do’s and Don’ts

Sunday, April 15th, 2007

Do you really know how to forward e-mails?  95% of the people DO NOT.

Do you wonder why you get viruses or junk mail?  Do you hate it?  Every
time you forward an e-mail there is information left over from the people who got the message before you, namely their e-mail addresses and names.

As the messages get forwarded along, the list of addresses builds, and builds, and builds, and all it takes is for some unlucky guy/gal to get a virus, and his or her computer can send that virus to every E-mail address that has come across their computer.

Or, someone can take all of those addresses and uses the list to sell to spammers and scammers.

How do you stop it?  Well, there are several easy steps:

(1)  When you forward an e-mail, DELETE all of the other addresses that appear in the body of the message (at the top). That’s right, DELETE them.  Highlight them and delete them, backspace them, cut them, whatever it is you know how to do.  It only takes a second.  You MUST click the "Forward" button first and then you will have full editing
capabilities against the body and headers of the message.  If you don’t
click on "Forward" first, you won’t be able to edit the message at all.

(2)  Whenever you send an e-mail to more than one person, especially to those that do not know each other, do NOT use the To: or Cc: fields for adding e-mail addresses.  Always use the BCC:(blind carbon copy) field for listing the e-mail addresses. This is the way the people you send to will only see their own e-mail address.

If you don’t see your BCC: after you have clicked ‘forward’….click on the view on the top toolbar - then "all headers"  The BCC: will appear for you. And that’s it, it’s that easy.  When you send to BCC: your message will automatically say " Undisclosed Recipients in the "TO:" field of the people who receive it.

(3)  Remove any "FW :" in the subject line.  You can re-name the subject if you wish or even fix spelling.

(4)  ALWAYS hit your Forward button from the actual e-mail you are reading.  Ever get those e-mails that you have to open 10 pages to read
the one page with the information on it?  By Forwarding from the actual
page you wish someone to view, you stop them from having to open many e-mails just to see what you sent.

(5)  Have you ever gotten an email that is a petition?   It states a position and asks you to add your name and address and to forward it to 10 or 15 people or your entire address book.  The email can be forwarded on and on and can collect thousands of names and email addresses.  A FACT: The completed petition is actually worth a couple of bucks to a professional spammer because of the wealth of valid names and email addresses contained therein.

If you want to support the petition, send it as your own personal letter to the intended recipient. Your position may carry more weight as a personal letter than a laundry list of names and email address on a petition.   (Actually, if you think about it, who’s supposed to send the petition in to whatever cause it supports?

And don’t believe the ones that say that the email is being traced, it just ain’t so!)

Some of the other emails I hate include:

1. The one that says something like, "Send this email to 10 people and you’ll see something great run across your screen."   Or sometimes they’ll just tease you by saying ’something really cute will happen.’  IT AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!  (Trust me, I’m still seeing some of the same emails that I waited on 10 years ago!)

2.  I don’t let the bad luck ones scare me either, they get trashed. (This could be why I haven’t won the lottery……)

3.  Before you forward an ‘Amber Alert’, or a ‘Virus Alert’ , or some of the other emails floating around nowadays, check them out before you forward hem.  Most of them are junk mail that’s been circling the net for YEARS !  Just about everything you receive in an email that is in question can be checked out a Sophos.  Just go to http://www.sophos.com/security/hoaxes/  It’s really easy to find out if it’s real or not.  If it’s not, please don’t pass it on.

So please, in the future, let’s stop the junk mail and the viruses and keep my email address private.

I missed my Songkran celebrations this year

Friday, April 13th, 2007

The dates were set, the plans were made, the hotels were booked and the transport was arranged. So why am I not having fun this Songkran?.

Looking back at the photos I took and uploaded to Ringo, ohhh I feel so sad I am not there this year.

Going to miss not only this water festival parades, but also my drinks at the Westside Saloon, my nuat nuat at Oliver, watching the katoeys outside Lee Garden hotel my room at the BP Suite hotel, the floor show at Hansa Plaza, shopping for clothes at Odean, the bands at the Water bar and the aroi mak mak arhan thai beside the Sakura Hotel.

Anyone want to follow me next year?. Let’s plan now so we can get a nice group together and have a party there. Game?

Carrefour is cheating consumers - beware

Monday, April 9th, 2007

Consumers beware of Carrefour tricks - to cheat you! Last Saturday 7th April I bought Maxkleen 9 ultra 4kg pack. Price tag on the shelf was RM 23.85. But at checkout, cashier charged me RM26.85. No price tag of RM26.85 was on the shelf.

I complained to the customer service counter at 4.10pm, waited 20 minutes and by 4.30pm Nizam the counter staff told me that the price of RM26.85 was for the pack with the FREE GIFT. I asked to speak to the Manager on duty Amir. He made me wait 10 minutes and didnt show up.

At 4.40pm, Anne the Customer Service Manager arrived and she confirmed that the price was RM26.85 - meaning Carrefour charges RM3 for a free dishwash liquid worth RM3 - is that a free gift then?. I asked Anne, to ensure Amir calls me by today as I couldn’t wait any longer having spent nearly 45 minutes at the Customer Service Counter. Anne promised that he will call me, but Amir never did call.

This is not the first incident at Carrefour Wangsa Maju. Last month, they put Johnson Baby shampoo with FREE Baby Bath on the same shelf as one with no free gift - but with only one price tag RM19.90 on the shelf. But at checkout, I was charged RM23.90 - RM4 more for the FREE Baby Bath.

This morning, Anne sms ms and ask me to collect a Free Maxkleen 9 from the customer service counter as goodwill. See what complaining can do for you?

Becareful when you shop – check your receipts at the counter to ensure Carrefour doesn’t cheat you.

Consumers – stand up for your rights and complain, if you feel you have been cheated!

Blessed Easter to all Christian friends

Saturday, April 7th, 2007
A Happy and Blessed Easter greeting to all my Christian friends. Make this joyous occasion,  a wake up call to do something really big with your life, and make a break through in your spiritual and social relationships, in your career and in your Unicity Business too!.
.
The promise of the reward is real, only if you make the sacrifice today. And the bigger the sacrifice, the bigger is the reward. All of us are unique, as we are the only animals who fail consistently to perform at our best.
.
The sad truth is, we simply make the wrong choices and give up too easily.
.
We know what must be done, to realise our full potential, so make a decision to do the simple disciplines, until we fulfill our promise to ourselves, to BE the very best, to DO all that it takes until we HAVE realised our true potential.
.
The price for success must be paid in full and you either Pay the price today, so that you can play later, or play today and pay the price in your golden years. The price is certainly smaller and less painful today, compared to later.

Life’s final encounter - Death

Monday, April 2nd, 2007
My closest uncle at 69, had a fatal heart attack yesterday.
It wasn’t his first one, but it was certainly his last. My Jakarta
trip planned April 3-5 is cancelled for the funeral tomorrow.
.
While he enjoyed a fulfilling life, his final year, was when he
had to give up all the pleasures, that he used to enjoy so much.
.
There is always sadness, but there cannot be life, if there is no death.
I am glad that we had so much fun times together. His cycle is
complete and I just wished he had listened to me and used his
BiosLife - who knows, he could have extended his life for another
15 years and continue to enjoy the things he loved so much.
.
Heart attack is a circulation problem and can be prevented, by
raising your HDL, to clean our the deposits in your arteries. Do
your cholesterol test today, because you too can add 15 years
and still enjoy the greatest gift we have - making life better for others.
