Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Everyone has the natural ability to speak, but the fear of public speaking, stops most people from earning money for talking.

Who can be a great speaker:-

a)  an authority - if you did something special, or you are an author, or have some unique experience

b) if you are a reporter - studied under, was told by or you are teaching another person’s materials

c) If you are a student - did what you were told, how you got started or how you are studying now.

Some key topic areas that interest most people are:-

a) Making Money b) Saving Money c) Infopreneuring - info to become an entrepreneur d) Internet Marketing e) Self Improvement - adults and kids

2 ways to start your career - either being the speaker and collect the fee or becoming an event promoter and accept the risk for a big payout.

2 ways to get started on your career as a public speaker:-

a)  Become a reporter and interview a famous person

b)  Choose a topic you are passionate about, get 3 books on the topic, view the table of contents of each book, merge to form the basis of your own presentation, invite 10 friends to teach, record your presentation, convert your audio presentation to CD and transcribe the notes, sell your training materials.

NAC 2007 - Stephen Pierce - How to get results with no money down

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

Perspective is just your view of things. And when you change your view, you will see things differently.

3 steps to effective marketing:-

a)  Who are you marketing to   b) What product are you marketing  c)  How are you marketing

Everyone is a marketer, whether we are looking for a job or a spouse or even our boss. Knowing what to do and how to do it, is fundamental to win the game.

26 letters, 3 primary colours, 10 digits and 12 musical notes - are the basic of language, art, numbers that get you excited and music that lifts the spirits.

On the internet, Traffic Generating and Traffic Monetizing, are the basics of earning a passive residual income while you sleep.

There are only 3 ways for Traffic Generating - pay for it by Buying it or getting it free by Borrowing or Redirect it.

And there are just 4 ways for Traffic Monetising - Per sale, Per Click, Per lead or Per Post.

Tips to start an internet marketing online business for free:-

a)  Pick a market   b)  Pick a product  c)  Join a free affiliate program  d)  Create a free blog  e)  Post the product on your blog  f) Traffic Generating  g)  Profit from Traffic Monetizing  h)  Repeat the process.

Stephen had a workshop in March in Singapore, and he had 10 past students give testimonies on stage at NAC. Everyone was happy with the workshop and some had generated sales within hours of setting up their websites in the workshop.

I was impressed with how fast his students could see sales, so I signed up for the Passive Residual Income System Extreme workshop in KL Sep 14-16, 2007. Wish me luck in my Internet Marketing project, and I do hope you can join me too.

Andrew Mathew – Happiness now and forever

The 2 things everyone wants the most – to be happy and to be rich. Everyday you can make a decision to either be happy or not.

When faced with a problem, always be happy, as once you overcome it, the problem will be just a situation you have learned to overcome, and the steps to take to ensure it won’t recur. Life is a cycle of you facing one problem after another.

Life is too short to be making all the mistakes yourself, so if possible, learn from other people’s mistakes by finding the right coaches, to ensure you cut short your learning curve and face less problems.

While you cannot change the things around you, you can always change what you can, and your attitude about it. You can have excuses or results, not both.

The joy of life is in the participation, not being a spectator. So live life to the fullest.

Myspace friends I met today from Jakarta

Sunday, May 20th, 2007

Was nearly 2 months ago, that I received a message at Myspace from Sarah from Jakarta. So I helped her with some links to book her hotel here in KL, for a 3 day holiday.

Last Friday, received an SMS and forgot totally about who Sarah was and her visit …hehehhe. so sorry…

Anyway to cut the long story short, I met up with Sarah and her 3 travel mates at the KLCC Sunday afternoon at 3pm. And 2 hours quickly passed, until it was time for them to leave for the airport.

So if you are planning to visit KL, just drop me a email, and if I am here, I’d be pleased to be meet up with you and drive you around.

Living with the memories

Friday, May 18th, 2007

Last night, I went to Klang to meet up an Indonesian  customer and some friends for dinner. Klang huh - famous for seafood, bak kut teh and a nasi lemak I had about 10 years ago.

Just ate bak kut teh 2 weeks ago in klang, so I decided on the nasi lemak at 7-11 at southern park.

We always remember the best food we had, but the reality is, nothing stays the same. Maybe our taste has improved over the years or due to popularity, corners are cut, or we forgot to brush out teeth and tongue. hahahaha.

What a dissappointment. The memories were so good, and now it’s all spoilt. The fried chicken was oily and lack taste, the rice was in lumps and the price was comparable to pj and kl. But the sambal and japanese anchovies they served was good.

The lady there was polite and friendly, and I guess customer service makes the stall so popular, even today.

My friend brought a dish from the Klang Seafood restaurant. Wow, the sauce was really good and the dish, although cold, was still so delicious.

Ok next trip to Klang, its the Klang Seafood restaurant.

The Future is in your hand - hold it gently

Excellent poems by not so famous poets…
found on toilet doors and walls………….

Here I sit in stinky vapor,
Because some bastard stole the toilet paper,
Shall I lie, or shall I linger,
Or shall I be forced to use my finger.

Here I sit
Broken hearted
Tried to shit
But only farted

You’re lucky
You had your chance
I tried to fart,
And shit my pants!

I came here
To shit and stink,
But all I do
Is sit and think.

Some come here to sit and think,
Some come here to shit and stink,
But I come

here to scratch my balls ,
And read the bullshit on the walls…

Who wants to be a MatchMaker?

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Why is it that so many ladies between 29-50 are approaching me to help them find their soul mate? Has my reputation been going around, that I even get requests from ladies, I have yet to meet before?

I am quite tickled…when every lady is looking for her knight in shining armour, coming to sweep her off her feet with a big car, give her a big house, pay her lots of $, and treat her like a queen.

Any available perfect gentleman, with a big heart, big car, big house, big pockets and big whatever, do contact me!.

I remember once at a NAC preview 2 years ago, they had a simple exercise. They called up 2 single and looking volunteers - a male and female.

And their first task was simply this - describe yourself (your character, your likes, your dislikes). Their second task was this - describe exactly your perfect match.

And the final task was - swap the results from project 2, between the guy and gal, and if you were this person - what exactly would be your perfect match.

So back to reality - the perfect guy you are looking for, is probably looking for someone totally different from who you are today!. So to attract the person you want, become the person your future partner is looking for. So go improve yourself first, or lower your expectations.

My advice to all ladies single and looking is:-

1.  Go open up a free account in Friendster, Myspace, Hi5 or even in FriendFinder. In sites where the guy has to pay to become a member, you get better quality guys to meet.

I know of some friends who are happily married and they met through sites like Friendfinder , Senior FriendFinder(for those looking above 40), BigChurch (if you looking for Christian partners) Indian Friend Finder - if you looking for Indians) or Chinese FriendFinder (if you prefer Chinese)

2.  Upload at least one nice photo of yourself - not passport or baby photo please. If you photo shows you in your favourite surroundings or with your favourite hobbies the better. Please make sure you have a full face shot and full body shot.

3.  Be truthful about yourself and describe yourself in the third person. Meaning as if someone else is describing you. Make sure you fill up all your likes and dislikes and if you are quiet or homely, just say so.

4.  Be specific about who you want to meet and if you are willing to relocate..meaning do you have family ties or commitments that keep you stuck in your present location. Also be very clear of the end result e.g. long term friendship, companionship or marriage

5.  Be realistic about who you can attract, based on your age, education, looks and baggage that you carry - be it kids, ageing parents or an unhappy past.

6.  Have fun and let nature take it’s course. Don’t sound or appear to be so desperate, so just be yourself and not someone you hope to be.

I wish you every success in finding what you are looking for. And if you need my advice, I am just a buzz away, so don’t hesitate to call if I can help.

How do you spend your retirement?

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

Another nice day today. Woke up naturally at 9.40am and decided to go to the PC shop to try to get my new laptop up and running. Got windows xp installed at last and then decided to drop in my usual breakfast joint for a tea and to catch up on the news.

Quite surprised to meet up my neighbour there. He was searching the papers for a mobile phone repair course, to try to earn some money. He had retired 1 year ago, and today he is still searching for something to pass the time. He already had tried insurance, real estate, unit trust and was convinced he cannot sell.

Both my mom and dad had a good retirement - my mom continued giving tuition and my dad, spent his time attending AGMs, EGMs, meeting friends daily and cooking for me.

So what happens when the kids have left home leaving the 2 old folks home alone, with limited money and lots of time? Is an idle mind the devil’s workshop?. Why do so many divorces happen after retirement?

Anyway, I shared with him the Bioslife Franchise and explained how I am able to earn money from home, and plan my businesss time around my life and kids.

Did he bite it?. Well it does not matter to me, if he does or he doesn’t. But for my neighbour, I know for a fact, that the Bioslife drink can add years to his life, and the Franchise business can add life to his years.

Life goes fast for those having fun and very slowly for those that don’t. Let’s go, go go - anyone need a travel partner?
