What a title for my blog today…
Was out tonight to meet up with Rosita, my friend Haza’s sister from Brunei at the Best Western hotel. Then met up with a friend from Medan - Martina who just arrived and was staying at the Legend Hotel with her mom.
Took them for a drive around KL and stopped by Chinatown. Barely 20 mins of browsing in Petaling street, it started pouring, and I had to run back to the car.
Tripped, slipped whatever - I fell on my elbow and knee. Blood everywhere - so that explains the title of the blog. Hahahaha…
Anyway, we went off for some teh tarik, sup ayam and murtabak for supper, and dropped them back at the hotel before midnite.
Had a painful shower as the wounds were all raw…and after some plasters and cm plex creme, hopefully the swelling will subside by tomorrow and my knee and elbow will be back to 100%.
What was the saddest thing was, my sample Breast Self Examination pad, I always carry in my pocket since 2003, burst with the impact of the fall. Oh well. nearly 4 years of educating so many women about doing a monthly breast self examination using the BSE pad, I guess its time to get a new pad to continue empowering women to prevent the only cancer that can be detected early.
