If you are above 21, you could already be infected

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

There is a dangerous virus being passed around electronically, orally, and by hand. This virus is called Worm-Overload-Recreational-Killer (WORK).

If you receive WORK from any of your colleagues, your boss, or anyone else via any means DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your private life completely.

If you should come into contact with WORK put your jacket on and take two Good friends to the nearest store.

Purchase the antidote known as Work-Isolating-Neutralizer-Extract (WINE) or Bothersome-Employer-Elimination-Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.

You should forward this warning to 5 friends. If you do not have 5 friends, you have already been infected, and WORK is controlling your life.

And should you wish to totally eliminate WORK from your life, like me – sitting at home online sharing jokes and blogs, and earning money leveraging your time and having thousands of associates/affiliates do the work for which you get paid, then do contact me for further instructions !

Airasia refunds me RM 297

Friday, July 20th, 2007

This is not the first time I have taken on big Public Listed companies and won for the small consumer like myself. Everyone can win if you know how and what to do!.

So far Giant has replaced a TV for me, Carrefour has given me free products and refunds in the hundreds, Telekom Malaysia has refunded me just over a thousand, and now Airasia has just refunded me close to three hundred.

It’s not the money but the principle  - and if you feel you are right, don’t let the big boys try to bully you. If you are cocksure you are right, then go ahead and persistently and consistenly follow up your complaint and you can surely win.

So what did airasia refund me? -

1.   A duplicate reservation due to their system jamming up during their busy sale period. RM 175

2.   Drop in departure tax when KLIA flights shifted to LCCT - RM40

3.  4 cancelled flights - refund of departure tax - local both ways and international outgoing only - RM82

It feels really good to have won a good fight - it took me 1 trip to the KL Sentral office (actually to pick up some friends and casually drop in the Airasia office) & 5 emails.

Some friends say there will be people who will pay me to teach them how to complain effectively and get the results we want. I think my friends could be right.

So tell you what, if you would like a copy of my emails to Carrefour, Telekom Malaysia and Airasia, I’ll send them to you for just RM 7. In this special 12 page report, I will comment on the psychology behind how I write a complaint letter. RM 7 - Its enough to get a Starbucks coffee to get online and send you your 12 page report! Thanks for the coffee!.

Just bank into my Maybank 1645 5714 6413 or CIMB 1248 000 4626 052 then email igk@pd.jaring.my your name, email address and the date, time and bank that you made your investment.

I will email you this special 12 page report, that will teach you

- how to make an effective complaint,

- how to get the results you want,

- how to win and feel good and

- most importantly, learn the skills once, that you can use over and over again to get exactly what you want!.

- and my personal mobile if you would like to consult me.

Have a great weekend, and do comment if you also have had any success with your complaints against corporate giants.

Are you losing it - a test for dementia

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

"Test for Dementia"

Exercise of the brain is as important as exercise of the muscles. As we grow older, it’s important to keep mentally alert. If you don’t use it, you lose it!

Below is a very private way, to gauge your loss or non-loss of brain cells. Take the test presented here to determine if you’re losing it or not. The spaces below are so you don’t see the answers until you’ve made your answer.

OK, relax, clear your mind and begin the 6 questions.

1. What do you put in a toaster?

Answer: "bread." If you said "toast," give up now and do something else. Try not to hurt yourself. If you said, bread, go to Question 2.

2. Say "silk" five times. Now spell "silk." What do cows drink?

Answer: Cows drink water If you said "milk," don’t Attempt the next question. Your brain is over-stressed and may even overheat. Content yourself with reading a more appropriate literature such as Auto World. However, if you said "water", proceed to question 3.

3. If a red house is made from red bricks and a blue house is made from blue bricks and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a black house is made from black bricks, what is a green house made from?

Answer: Greenhouses are made from glass. If you said "green bricks," why are you still reading these??? If you said "glass," go on to Question 4.

4. It’s twenty years ago, and a plane is flying at 20,000 feet over Germany (If you will recall, Germany at the time was politically divided into West Germany and East Germany .) Anyway, during the flight, TWO engines fail. The pilot, realizing that the last remaining engine is also failing, decides on a crash landing procedure. Unfortunately the engine fails before he can do so and the plane fatally crashes smack in the middle of "no man’s land" between East Germany and West Germany . Where would you bury the survivors? East Germany, West Germany, or no man’s land"?

Answer: You don’t bury survivors. If you said ANYTHING else, you’re a dunce and you must stop. If you said, "You don’t bury survivors", proceed to the next question.

5. Without using a calculator - You are driving a bus from London to Milford Haven in Wales . In London , 17 people get on the bus; In Reading, six people get off the bus and nine people get on. In Swindon , two people get off and four get on. In Cardiff , 11 people get off and 16 people get on. In Swansea , three people get off and five people get on In Carmathen, six people get off and three get on. You then arrive at Milford Haven. What was the name of the bus driver?

Answer: Oh, for crying out loud! Don’t you remember your own name? It was YOU!!

Now pass this along to all your friends and pray they do better than you. PS: 95% of people fail most of the questions

And if you are wondering where question 6 is, (or have you forgotten there were 6 questions), maybe it’s time to question yourself, if you should be taking some brain supplement like Enjuvenate Plus that can help you with brain clarity, mental recall and clear thinking as your brain ages faster than the rest of your body!

What’s your per minute earnings?

Friday, July 13th, 2007

Time

This comic actually wakes some people up to reality.

Assuming you earn 10 daily or 3,000 monthly in exchange for 8 hours daily 22 days monthly - 22 days x 8 hours x 60 mins = 10,560 minutes or 28 cents per minute.

Looks so small right. less the half a dollar per minute, when people like David Beckham is earning 10,000 per minute!.

The actual calculation is 30 days of being sold to your company, you earn 3,000. So the actual calculation is 30 days x 24 hours x 60 mins = 43,200 mins or 6.9 cents per minute

So will you do anything different today, Friday the 13th, to be paid your true worth?

In Case of Emergency - who you going to call?

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

Isn’t it true that we all carry our mobile phones with hundreds of names/numbers stored in its memory but yet nobody,  other than ourselves, know which of these numbers belong to our near and dear ones?

Let us for a moment create a scenario wherein we are involved in an accident or had a heart attack and the  people attending us get hold of our mobile phone, but don’t know which number to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency?

For this reason, we must have one or more telephone numbers stored  under the name ICE (In case of Emergency) in our mobile phones.

Recently, the concept of "ICE" is catching up quickly. It is  simple, an important method of contact during emergency situations.

As cell phones are carried by majority of the population, all you  need to do is store the number of a contact person or person  who should be contacted at during emergency as ICE" (meaning In Case of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when they went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn’t know which number to call.

Following a disaster in
London, the East Anglican Ambulance Service has launched a national "In case of Emergency (ICE)" campaign.

In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital staff would then be able to quickly contact your next of kin, by simply dialing the number stored as "ICE".

Please forward this. It won’t take too many "forwards" before  every body will know about this.

It really could save your life, or put a loved one’s mind at rest.

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc.

A great idea that will make a difference!

Let’s spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our mobile phones today!

Prioritizing your gift of 24 hours daily

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

I just realised how many people out there, are so poor at time management, that they leave out doing the important things until they become urgent.

Here’s a little twist on how we should be spending out time daily.

Typical work day:-

7 hours sleep inclusive of meditation, prayer etc
1 hour exercise
2 hours personal grooming time - morning and night
2 hours commute - to and fro work and audio learning a new skill
10 hours present at your work place
1 hour dinner
1 hour family time with spouse and kids.

So what about the typical weekend, when you have 12 hours saved from your commuting and work hours?

There are only 4 things we need to take care off with the free time we have…

a) the non urgent not important things - we delegate it or pay people to do for us. Calculate your hourly cost to see your savings!

b) the non urgent but important things - we spend 20% of our time, so it does not get urgent

c) the urgent but not important things - we spend 20% of our time to get it done

d) the urgent and important things - we spend 60% of our time to fix this. Well if it was that important in the first place, we should have taken care of it when it was not urgent, to reduce our stress!.

So if you fail to plan, you have planed to fail!
