Hydro Fuel launching in Malaysia

Spend 4 hours for a complete installation, put a 5 litre water tank in your booth, some electical gadgets in your engine compartment to do some electrolysis to extract the hydrogen from water, pump this hydrogen into your air intake, pay RM1,300 for a carburettor engine or RM2,300 for a fuel injection engine (ohhh you get a free Smart Fuel Saver device) below 2,000cc and get 50% more mileage from your litre of petrol/diesel.

Don’t be mistaken with hydrogen powered cars Japan, Germany and USA are moving towards. This is hydrofuel - meaning using hydro (water) as fuel.

Don’t get too excited too fast. The system is not approved by Pusapakom and the JPJ yet, tentatively Sept 2008 only. It’s only on trial with 100 taxis.

But according to this Dr Halim,  he is ready to install 300,000 units from August onwards.

Malaysia Boleh - yes it’s true our cars will not run on water, but with this HFI system, will use water to extend mileage by 50% thus cutting your fuel bill by half.

What distance 5 litres of water will last you, is not known at the moment. There may be an upgrade option to install a swimming pool in your booth, so you can drive non stop from kl to pj.

Or maybe an optional water disposal device from the driver and passenger seat, to send your waste water directly into this water tank. Wow. That’s recycling at it’s best!.

Remember the slogan -  " Put a tiger in our tank " . Now its "Wee Wee urine takes you 50% further"
