Out with the old and renewed hope with the new

Friday, November 28th, 2008

Will be sending off my maid today after 3 years with me. Unlike all the previous maids that stayed only 2 years, this one was the first that stayed 3 years,

It’s also much cheaper to keep renewing the maid’s employ, rather than recruiting a new one every 2 years. My new maid is going to cost me almost RM8,000 upfront, and RM550 monthly.

On Monday, I will go pickup my new maid and hope that this girl will stay even longer. It’s tiring to train someone how to cook wash, clean and look after the house while you are busy trying to make money.

Wish me luck.

What do you really want?

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

Thursday past, I attended a Law of Attraction presentation by my friend Izad. Actually it’s the second talk, but this time the focus was on attracting the ideal client to you. I learned more about affirmations and how to include the 6 magic words that can make my affirmation believable and achievable.

Every word that comes out of your mouth or that you focus on in your thoughts is a prayer. So be aware and careful, of what you are thinking and speaking.

What struck me this time was that many people keep complaining about what they don’t like or want, when instead, they should be focussing on what they actually want.

So the next time you hear yourself complaining, stop and ask yourself, what is it that you actually want or how would you like it to change.

If you would like to learn more about the Law of Attraction, Izad is having a coaching program and it’s best you talk to him to get the details.

Meantime, I wish you get exactly what you wish for.

My recent trip to Teluk Intan on NGV

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Last saturday, my nephew gave up his bachelorhood and hosted a wedding dinner in Teluk Intan. Never been there before, so a quick check with google maps and the ngv community, I managed to plan out a trip there to maximise my trip cost using NGV.

Left KL at 4pm and proceeded to Kepong, Sg Buluh and Ijok where I managed to get my NGV refill. Then off to Kuala Selangor and easily reached Teluk Intan by 7pm. Quite good toll-free roads and enjoyed the nice scenery too.

After dinner, visited the famous Leaning clock tower of Teluk Intan and had to go test out the popular Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun. A little wooden shack to the right just after Public Bank, with about 10 workers had a fully automated steamer, This delicious chee cheong fun is filled with just turnip and dried prawns and eaten with picked green chillies, which costs RM3 for 2 pieces. Yummy.

Left Teluk Intan around 11.30pm heading back to KL via Kuala Selangor again. After 160km my gas finished, Ijok station was closed and I had to complete the rest of the trip on petrol. Tried to toilet stop at Sg Buluh Mobil, but too many Mat Rempit there, so went further down to Shell and had a good piss stop.Reached Jl Ipoh 4th ml NGV station and refilled RM8.50, before reaching home at 2.30am. At 5.3 sen per km, NGV is truly a greener and cost effective fuel for me.

But a 9 hour trip just to eat dinner, is clearly a waste of time. Please lah, if you want to find a better half, find one in your own back yard, so all the relatives and friends will not waste time and money travelling 9 hours just to give you face, to attend your dinner. Good advice I hope everyone takes heed seriously.

Is it time to get your NGV fixed to save on your fuel costs?. Prices for the NGV kit has fallen by 15% and now is a good time as any to get NGV savings. If you are in the Klang Valley, contact me and I can introduce you to Allan, who will give you a good deal. Yes I will get a free oil change with every introduction, but more importantly, at least I know you will be happy with your installation.
I’ve written an ebook about my NGV experience and sell it for just RM7 in Lelong - http://members.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/List.asp?DataAction=Apply&UserID=kingkraal Check it out.

Happy with Citibank Giant, UOB and Alliance and upset with Diners AAM

Friday, November 7th, 2008

Received my RM50 voucher today from Citibank Giant, for signing up for their co-brand card.  Citibank member get member promotion is now on. If I can signup 8 new Citibank card members, they will give me a laptop!. Anyone want to JV with me?.

UOB now gives 4% cash back at Giant, Tessco effective 1st Nov. Looks like I can keep away my Giant card for the moment.

Alliance Bank just gave me a Platinum mastercard. Why I like this card is because they have a cash back starting at 0.6% up till 1.5%.

Diners Club AAM again messed up my statement since August and till today is still not settled. Talked to 2 agents earlier and yesterday talked to Suzanne the Asst Manager. Let’s see if my statement can be straightened out. The reson I still hold this card since 1993 is because of my insurance policies and also they give 5% cash back for any petrol brand.

Non ‘bumiputra’ becomes President of USA

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Imgaine this, a non-”bumiputra” can become the 44th President of USA - the most powerful nation on planet Earth!.

For the benefit of non-Malaysians, bumiputra means sons of the earth and denote the Malay race, who own special rights and priviledges in Malaysia. Bumiputras only, can become the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Finance Minister in Malaysia.

I do hope and pray he will turn the sickly USA around, so that everyone else can recover from the global downtrend.

Yes there is hope, if you have what it takes or believe your kids do, and want to become President of USA, you can always emmigrate there and begin your political career in the land of opportunity.

As for the non-bumiputras in Malaysia, I guess you have to wait another 200 years before it could happen here.

Congratulations again to President Obama. Do come to visit us soon!.

Convergence of Trends

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

During dinner with friends this week, we were talking about the state of the economy, the stock market collapse, the recession fear, the professionals now taking Ah Long loans and the general perception of gloom and doom of the populace.

During the last recession in 1998, 10 years ago, fortunes were made by those who started working a network marketing business part time. And some networkers then, were earning a few thousand monthly within a short 3 months, up to a five figure income within 12 months.

At that time a few new products came out - The IES pack - the Internal Enhancing System cleanse and detox program, Enjuvenate - the first anti-aging drink, Hawaiian Noni - the first Noni drink in the market. Within a few years, competitors that sprang up, but today have since dissappeared.

Fast forward to 2008, the economy is again faltering, and people are cautious about spending or investing their money in any new unproven products or business.

On November 9th at 3pm in PJ, we are launching a new Fat Loss, Energy and Science based kosher vegetarian drink called Bioslife Slim (www.bioslifeslim.com) . This orange flavoured vegetarian fibre drink is made and patented in USA, listed in the Physicians Desk Reference 2007 (http://www.usa.makelifebetter.com/pdr.pdf) and clinically proven to manage healthy cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.(www.unicityscience.org)

What makes this product so special is that everyone wants to lose some inches, and many people need to control their cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar safely. Would you like more energy and have a slimmer figure and some new clothes for Christmas and Chinese New Year?

But no one wants to diet, have a boring meal replacement, or to exercise, starve or have food cravings. For Bioslife Slim to work, you must eat your 3 meals and walk 10 minutes daily (but don’t exercise), and drink your Slim drink 10 minutes before meals.

Anyone aged 6 and above will see results within 1 week and within 1 month, many people report a loss of 1-4 inches. Within 60 days, your bad LDL cholesterol will drop 31% and your good HDL will increase 29%.

The time, 3pm 9th Nov 2008 is now, the product is Bioslife Slim ( www.bioslifeslim.com) and the Franchise system (www.bioslifeslimfranchise.com) is already proven in USA, EU, Korea, Japan, Hongkong and Taiwan.

The 5 reasons why Bioslife Slim makes good business sense is:-

1. Everyone wants to lose at least 1 inch either from their arms, thighs, waist, butt or hips
2. Slim works fast and people can feel lighter and see results within 1 week, so it’s easy to sell and promote it to others
3. Age is not a number but a feeling and if you lack energy, you feel old. Everyone wants to have more energy and Slim helps.
4. Most people want to earn some extra income, but cannot risk the high start up costs of a conventional business. The investment to be a global Franchisor is just 10 boxes of Bioslife Slim and very affordable. Risk is minimum as stocks can be eaten or easily sold..
5. Everyone wants to look slimmer for the Christmas and New Year parties

Make a decision to be there at 3pm on Nov 9th Sunday at Bgn Pan Global, Jl Tandang, to see and listen for youself, from the people who have lost weight and inches, since the pre-launch on Sept 15. I am the Emcee for this event and I hope to see you there!.

Launch stocks are limited and 2-4 week back orders are expected. So if you can, please meet me at 2pm to secure your stocks.
