My recent trip to Teluk Intan on NGV

Last saturday, my nephew gave up his bachelorhood and hosted a wedding dinner in Teluk Intan. Never been there before, so a quick check with google maps and the ngv community, I managed to plan out a trip there to maximise my trip cost using NGV.

Left KL at 4pm and proceeded to Kepong, Sg Buluh and Ijok where I managed to get my NGV refill. Then off to Kuala Selangor and easily reached Teluk Intan by 7pm. Quite good toll-free roads and enjoyed the nice scenery too.

After dinner, visited the famous Leaning clock tower of Teluk Intan and had to go test out the popular Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun. A little wooden shack to the right just after Public Bank, with about 10 workers had a fully automated steamer, This delicious chee cheong fun is filled with just turnip and dried prawns and eaten with picked green chillies, which costs RM3 for 2 pieces. Yummy.

Left Teluk Intan around 11.30pm heading back to KL via Kuala Selangor again. After 160km my gas finished, Ijok station was closed and I had to complete the rest of the trip on petrol. Tried to toilet stop at Sg Buluh Mobil, but too many Mat Rempit there, so went further down to Shell and had a good piss stop.Reached Jl Ipoh 4th ml NGV station and refilled RM8.50, before reaching home at 2.30am. At 5.3 sen per km, NGV is truly a greener and cost effective fuel for me.

But a 9 hour trip just to eat dinner, is clearly a waste of time. Please lah, if you want to find a better half, find one in your own back yard, so all the relatives and friends will not waste time and money travelling 9 hours just to give you face, to attend your dinner. Good advice I hope everyone takes heed seriously.

Is it time to get your NGV fixed to save on your fuel costs?. Prices for the NGV kit has fallen by 15% and now is a good time as any to get NGV savings. If you are in the Klang Valley, contact me and I can introduce you to Allan, who will give you a good deal. Yes I will get a free oil change with every introduction, but more importantly, at least I know you will be happy with your installation.
I’ve written an ebook about my NGV experience and sell it for just RM7 in Lelong - http://members.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/List.asp?DataAction=Apply&UserID=kingkraal Check it out.
